Membership Policy

At Dark Knights Chess, we believe chess should be accessible to everyone — which is why we do not charge any membership fees to play in our events.
There is no requirement to become a Dark Knights Chess member — all are welcome!

However, please note that:

♟️ Most of our tournaments are USCF-rated

To participate in a rated section, players must have a current membership with the United States Chess Federation (USCF). If you're not yet a member, you can easily sign up or renew during registration.

 Some events may also be FIDE-rated
These events follow international chess rules and will be submitted for a FIDE rating, the global rating system used by the World Chess Federation (Fédération Internationale des Échecs).

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned competitor, we encourage you to join the board and play — no exclusive membership required.
